Garden Photos!

This is a photo of the garden which measures about 30' x 90'. Kevin installed 3 arial sprinklers but we have to use ground sprinkler to water a lower right hand area for now.

This is our grapefruit which is about 10 years old and has about 8-10 fruit on it. The previous ones have been quite tasty. A small key lime is planted behind it, no fruit yet.

We bought young tomato, squash, yellow & green peppers, eggplant, cucumbers & green bean plants. This is one of our tomato plants.

After the nice, soaking rain on Wednesday night, our corn, black-eye peas & okra started sprouting. This is so exciting to see them break thru the ground!

These are the sprinklers that Kevin installed. We will have them on timer for first thing in the morning. The green beans really need the moisture to carry them thru the hot day. Then will give them another drink later in the day when I get home from work.

Well that's all for now. Will post more photos in the coming days.

The babies...umm, I mean plants, continue to look healthy. The black-eye peas now have leaves, the corn is about 5" high, the green beans will need staking soon and the zipper peas are breaking thru the soil. Kevin's peanuts, altho a late planting, should break thru in the next few days. He's excited about his 3 rows of "hot boiled peanuts".
